RICK HOPCRAFT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR VETERANS
A charitable fund has been created at Scholarship America to celebrate the memory of Rick Hopcraft.
This scholarship supports military veterans, especially those seeking to enter the commercial real estate field in Orange County, to honor Rick’s military service, and his community and commercial real estate industry leadership.
Beginning in the 2015-16 academic year, the Scholarship Selection Committee awarded scholarships to returning veterans pursuing education at area institutions of higher learning (including Chapman University, California State University Fullerton, USC, UC Irvine, Orange Coast Community College, Pepperdine and others).
A total of $128,500 has been awarded during the first four academic years of the scholarship. Thirteen scholarship recipients have received grants ranging from $1,500 to $20,000 to assist with their education.
Please join us in honoring Rick’s life and work by helping returning veterans get an education and an introduction to commercial real estate in Orange County.
The Rick Hopcraft Memorial Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit California corporation, and is partnered with Scholarship America, a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization. Tax ID #04-2296967.
